How Your Health Calculators collects, uses, and protects your information
Last Updated: August 2026
In short: You can use our free calculators without an account, and those calculations run in your browser without being stored by us. If you create an account and use the Health Dashboard, we collect and store the information you provide — such as your name, email, health profile, and saved calculator results — so we can show your history, charts, insights, and reports. We never sell your personal data.
1. Introduction
Thank you for visiting Your Health Calculators (“we”, “our”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our website, https://yourhealthcalculators.com/ (the “Website”), including our free health and wellness calculators and our optional account-based Health Dashboard (the “Dashboard”). By using the Website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
a) Using calculators without an account
If you use our public calculators without signing in, the values you enter (such as age, height, or weight) are processed in your browser for real-time calculation and are not saved on our servers.
b) Account and profile information
If you create an account, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- Full name and email address
- Password (stored in hashed form — we cannot see your actual password)
- Profile photo, if you choose to upload one
- Health profile details such as age, gender, height, weight, and preferred units
- Sign-in details if you use Google or X (Twitter) to create or access your account (such as name, email, and profile photo from that provider)
c) Health and activity data
When you are signed in, we store the data needed to power your Dashboard, including:
- Calculator results you save (for example BMI, BMR, TDEE, metabolic age, or health score)
- Health metrics you log or track over time (for example weight, BMI, or body fat percentage)
- Your history, charts, and generated reports
d) Payment information
If you purchase credits for premium features (such as AI health reports or monthly insights), payments are processed by trusted third-party payment processors. We do not store your full card or banking details on our servers; we retain only transaction records such as the amount, date, and credits purchased.
e) Messages you send us
If you use our contact form or submit a support request from the Dashboard, we collect the details you provide (such as name, email, message, and any attachments) so we can respond.
f) Emails and account notices
We use your email to send one-time codes for sign-up and password reset, important account or service updates, and — if you keep this option enabled — a weekly Dashboard summary.
g) Automatically collected data
Like most websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical data such as device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, and usage patterns, through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you securely
- Save and display your calculator history, tracked metrics, charts, and progress over time
- Generate your health score, insights, and personalized reports (including AI-generated reports, where you request them)
- Pre-fill calculators with your saved profile details for a faster, more personalized experience
- Process credit purchases and maintain your credit balance
- Respond to support requests and communicate important account or service updates
- Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Website and Dashboard
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
4. AI-Generated Reports and Insights
Some Dashboard features use artificial intelligence to generate personalized reports and insights from your saved health data. When you request an AI-generated report, relevant data from your profile and history may be processed by our AI service providers solely to generate that report. AI outputs are informational estimates, not medical advice — please see our Medical Disclaimer.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Website is used. Third-party services may also set cookies:
Google Analytics helps us understand how the Website is used so we can improve it.
Google AdSense or other ad networks may display advertisements on parts of the Website and may use cookies to show ads relevant to your interests. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info/choices.
You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features — such as staying signed in — may not work properly without them.
6. How We Share Information
We share personal information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers — hosting, database, analytics, payment processing, email, authentication, and AI providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards
- Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public
- Business transfers — if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including hashed password storage and secure connections (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your login credentials confidential.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account and health data for as long as your account remains active, so that your history, charts, and reports remain available to you. If you delete your account from your account settings, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain certain records (such as payment transaction records) to comply with legal obligations.
9. Your Rights and Choices
You are in control of your data. You can:
- Access and update your profile information at any time from your account settings
- Delete your account and associated personal data from your account settings
- Contact us if you need help with access or deletion, or to exercise other rights
- Opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings
Depending on your location, you may have additional legal rights regarding your personal data, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. To exercise any right, contact us at the email below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
10. Children's Privacy
Accounts and the Health Dashboard are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly allow children to create an account. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We do offer educational tools such as the Child BMI Calculator. These are meant for a parent or caregiver to use as a general reference — not for a child to sign up or manage their own account. If you use a child-related calculator without signing in, the values you enter stay in your browser and are not saved by us. If you are signed in, a saved result may be stored on your adult account so it can appear in your history.
11. Third-Party Links
The Website may link to third-party websites, including advertisers and partners. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services or applicable laws change. We will post any changes on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date, and for significant changes we may also notify you by email or through the Dashboard.
13. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please contact us at contact@appzroot.com.
